Fall Stripers on Cape May
Party Boats
December 11, 2000
As the Fall heads toward
Winter and air and water temperatures plummet, many boaters pull their
boats and store them until next Spring. Meanwhile, there are plenty of
fish to catch in the local waters. A great way to extend the fishing season
is to hop aboard one of the several party boats that sail daily, weather
permitting. We were able to join a couple of friends for a successful day
of striper fishing on clambeds as they were being dredged. Using clams
as bait, the entire population of the party boat brought home their limit
of three fish per person. The photos below are souvenirs of a highly recommended
way of spending a day on the water.
