Birding
Cape May is a world-class place to watch birds. All seasons of the year provide exciting sighting (sorry). The birding activities are coordinated by the Cape May Bird Observatory (CMBO) with its two locations in Cape May Point and Goshen. CMBO provides many structured activities as well as a wealth of information and literature. In addition, CMBO sponsors the Hawk Watch in Cape May Point and the Sea Watch in Avalon.Here are some of the birds that you can see along the Bayside beaches (in decreasing order of frequency):
