Bidwell's Creek (aka Bidwell's Ditch) lies at the north end of Reed's Beach. The creek mouth is protected by a stone and concrete jetty shown in the left picture below. There are two marinas in the creek. The one near the mouth, reached via Reed's Beach is shown in the right picture below. 

The creek runs in a straight line from the mouth to the Route 47 bridge. The marina at the Route 47 bridge is shown in the left picture below. The view east from the Route 47 bridge, shown at right below, shows the characteristics of a creek as opposed to a ditch.
